Get paid to fly!
A commercial pilot can receive compensation as a pilot. This is the entry to a career in aviation. Whether it be flying passengers, cargo, charter, flight instructing or one of many many more careers.
Prerequisites:
- Must be 18 years old
- Read, Speak, Write and Understand English
- 250 flight hours (including 100 PIC and 50 x-country)
- Typically you will get the Instrument rating before Commercial but it’s not a requirement
- You can train with a 3rd class medical but you will need at least a 2nd class medical certificate to exercise the privileges of it.
- 10 hours of complex aircraft time. Our Piper Arrow will do nicely for this.
- You can take the check ride in any plane.
